this dude from paris texas his email is lustforfire@hotmail.com... there has been 2 occassions now where i have dealt w/ him in email about selling scooters, and he is a rude . just wondering if anybody know who he is. it was a while back when i had a scoot for sale... he does some crazy lowball offer and then is rude and unreasonable in his exchanges, and now he is on scoot.net pokin fun at my ad that no i wont take $1000.oo for the allstate ithink hes point is i shouldnt repost ans repost over and over again like the due that kept repost his ads like everyday about no the gs is not for sale, but anyway i get tired of all that crap on scoot.net i know they deleted them real quick like the royal bastard ads but anyway im venting here on my soapbox insted of adding fuel to the fire over there.

Scooter Model(s): Lambrettas and Vespas old and shifty!
We've traded some emails about Lambretta parts in the past. I bet your referring to the red and white Lambretta Li 125. Just saying that because I mentioned that scoot to him when said he was looking for a Lambretta and he said something about being sick of people swearing by the local guru's that work on stuff who have no clue what they are doing. I think you may have mentioned that in your ad and I explained that that local guru is the only guy I'd let work on my own lambrettas in town.

Anway, no hard feelings against Lust for Fire if he is around here somewhere.

Maybe he's just making fun at the Allstate because it is rather pricey (and he likes to be vocal). Mileage really has no bearing on a vintage scooter especially when it's far from mint condition. I don't know if someone will pay a premium just because the odomoter is low. I think most people know that something sitting that long means it's still going to need a rebuild sooner. Just my twenty pesos and that scooter is pretty sweet. If someone pays that, awesome, your buying drinks.

yeah im starting out high cuz dont wanna sell it yet. (hence the obo offer but be reasonable you cant get it for $1k.... i didnt get it for $1k.... mike didnt get it for $1k) but when mike got this scoot he was all excited about how original it is. so yeah its been laid down but the motor is strong. this past weekend we got into the clutch area to free up the plates and it was nice and evident that nobody has been into the motor. everything inside is nice and new and clean and perfect no wear or use. so you are really getting a motor from 1965 w/ no use and mike also was taken aback that it idled and does not need a seals job, they have lasted there are no air leaks. the bike fired up on the original spark plug, the tires are original italian made, theres a paper tag in the clove box, paint is rough but show me another 1965 allstate runnin on the road w/ only 337 miles. its worth...... maybe not 2800 but n the range. its a time capsule unmolested if you will and not tampered with

Scoot.net has gotten kind of crazy with nutty people ranting about stuff. I saw the whole Royal Bastards thing. There was also that dude with the LD lambretta slamming Guiermo at Lambretta Works, and then everybody was slamming him. I wish the Moderators of that site would crack down on the crazy rants. Scoot.net isn't the site for that.

I think that guy in Paris must be one of the Royal Bastards...let me look.... Yeah, I looked on their national roster. His name is "Jackass Bastard" I'm pretty sure he was at that Lakes Rally 2 years ago. Those guys are real A-holes!

i completely agree Greg. i thought that the classified section was for finding/buying/selling parts/scooters. and not much else. its not a forum or anything.
